Today we celebrate at least 2 things: the return to Standard Time, and All Saints Day. About 7:15 this morning, I was sitting at the table eating breakfast in my apartment. Looking up from my meal, I glanced into the bedroom, and a beam of the newly-positioned sun, shined right on a picture of Elizabeth and me. That picture was special, because it was taken on the celebration of our 60th wedding anniversary. And today, November 3, is the 68th anniversary of our wedding! As usual, I was in tears at the thought of my saintly Elizabeth. We had 65 good years together, before she joined the other saints before the Throne. Glory to God.

Is it possible to grow in faith while in college? We think so. We live it. God continues to work in amazing ways among us. In fact, for over 70 years we have been witnessing and participating in the journeys of faith of those in the University Community.
We strive to be faithful in worship through a variety of forms from band-led (11am) to hymnal-oriented (9am). Both are casual, spirit-filled and focused on the gifts of Jesus freely given to us.
The church is people. Never losing sight of that, we connect to each other through Bible Study, relationship building and enjoyable events. (We don’t like to be bored either!) Somehow it seems that no matter what we are doing, food shows up.
At the Chapel, we take seriously our calling to love God by loving neighbor. Knowing that all people matter to God causes us to exercise this challenge in all seasons of life.
Come, grow with us. All are invited to experience the love of God in Jesus Christ.
Bless you Winslow!
