Lutheran Women in Mission will sponsor a collection of personal care items to make Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief. Please bring new or very gently used towels to your site during the month of February. Pastor Dan will be sending out a daily Lenten Devotional email starting on February 22. It will cover the gospel of Mark in 40 days. To receive these emails, please go to the Get Connected email box on the homepage, enter your name and email and choose “Daily Lenten Devotionals.”
If your eighth grader does not have all of the classes they need to be confirmed, they are welcome to attend “make-up sessions” during the current Membership class at St. Luke- Ann Arbor. Classes will be held during the education hour (9:30-10:30 a.m. Sunday mornings). A list of dates and topics are below. They don’t need to attend every session only the classes they are missing. The sessions include: Feb. 19 (this Sunday): the commandments; Feb. 26: the Creeds; Mar. 4: the Lord’s Prayer; Mar. 11: the sacraments (both Baptism and Lord Supper). If you aren’t sure what classes your child still needs, please contact Byron Porisch for information (bporisch@stlukeaa.org).
Save us your cans! Please bring empty returnables to your site on Sundays! Our youth will return them for you and keep the cash! All proceeds help support youth going on the Mexicali Mission Trip. Please make sure they are bagged and labeled “youth.” We appreciate your support!
