Support our Troops

We will be collecting items starting today through Sunday, May 20, which is Armed Forces Sunday. Please refer to the list of suggested items and start shopping to fill care packages! Last year Living Water collected 563 pounds of snack foods and personal care items that filled 23 large shipping boxes. Keep up the good work because we know these gifts make a difference in the lives of the soldiers who receive them. (dschilbe7135@ameritech.net).

Packing Party 2012
We will be packing up all of the donated care package items on Thursday, May 24, at the Northfield Township Hall, 8350 Whitmore Lake Rd. The evening will start at 6 p.m. with a light meal, followed by the packing. This is a fun way to finish the ‘Support Our Troops’ drive. Please sign up at the display table in the Atrium.

This school is sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kenya, and provides an education for children who would otherwise be excluded from school. These offerings will also help purchase educational materials, and provide basic needs like food and clothing for these children.
