We’ll be joining Living Water this year for their Support Our Troops initiative. We’ll be collecting supplies to send to soldiers stationed overseas (especially snacks and toiletry items). If you would like to donate items for the troops, bring them to St. Luke-Ann Arbor before May 18. Here is a list of appropriate items.
Attention ladies of all ages you are invited to attend the Women Of Faith event. This year it will be held August 3-4 in Columbus, Ohio. For those that have never heard WOF, it is a weekend where thousands of Christian women get together and praise God! There will be a concert by Mandisa and inspirational guest speakers including Patsy Claremont, Lisa Harper, Sandy Patty, and Marilyn Melberg. You will leave feeling spiritually renewed and closer to God! Cost is $89 (plus hotel accommodation — approx. $25) A $10 deposit is required by May 13 to save your spot. This quarter’s special mission offering will benefit the Kerina school for the blind, deaf, and disabled in Kenya. This school is sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kenya, and provides an education for children who would otherwise be excluded from school. These offerings will also help purchase educational materials, and provide basic needs like food and clothing for these children.
St. Luke-Ann Arbor will be offering Concordia’s Amazing Desert Journey July 31-August 3, 9 a.m. to noon.
