World Relief Collection

Lutheran Women in Mission will sponsor a collection of personal care items to make Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief. Please bring new or very gently used towels to your site during the month of February. Towels should be light-weight, dark and no larger than 52″x27.” A collection basket is near the welcome table in the lobby. Contact Linda Murdock with questions (lmurdock@livingwatermi.org).

Daily Lenten Emails

Pastor Dan will be sending out a daily Lenten Devotional email starting on February 22. It will cover the gospel of Mark in 40 days. To receive these emails, please go to the Get Connected email box on the homepage, enter your name and email and choose “Daily Lenten Devotionals.”

Confirmation Make-up Sessions

If your eighth grader does not have all of the classes they need to be confirmed, they are welcome to attend “make-up sessions” during the current Membership class at St. Luke- Ann Arbor. Classes will be held during the education hour (9:30-10:30 a.m. Sunday mornings). A list of dates and topics are below. They don’t need to attend every session only the classes they are missing. The sessions include: Feb. 19 (this Sunday): the commandments; Feb. 26: the Creeds; Mar. 4: the Lord’s Prayer; Mar. 11: the sacraments (both Baptism and Lord Supper). If you aren’t sure what classes your child still needs, please contact Byron Porisch for information (bporisch@stlukeaa.org).

Parent’s Night Out

Parent’s Night Out is a free respite program sponsored by the Special Needs Ministry at St. Luke-Ann Arbor for families who have children with special needs. On Friday, March 2 nearly half of our volunteers will be absent due to spring break. We are looking for at least 20 extra volunteers to help us out that evening. Would you consider volunteering? It would be a tremendous blessing for many families. Our program runs from 6-9 p.m. and requires no previous experience. College Lunch
