Lamb Lot / 2 yrs

Our two  year olds love to hear stories about Jesus on Sunday mornings, so we have a special class for them. They will spend time hearing an age appropriate story about Jesus, make a craft and of course have a snack. Parents are welcome to come check it out.

Sheepfold (Sunday School) 3yrs-2nd grade

Sheepfold at St. Luke is like no other. We have chosen the name Sheepfold because it is a time when we gather God’s Little lambs together to share God’s love. The children begin their time with us in the worship center singing songs of praise and working on bible verses. In their classrooms, the children will spend time in worship and prayer, using an altar with the appropriate church calendar. They will hear the stories of Jesus told by our experienced and specially trained teachers who are story tellers using 3 dimensional figures to bring the stories to life. The children continue to experience their time in sheepfold by either making the craft or using the stories themselves to retell the story they have learned.

Growing in Christ 3rd-5th

Grades 3rd thru 5th have the opportunity to build their community of faith by learning major stories of the Old and New Testaments. The curriculum from Concordia weaves the church calendar and sections of the Catechism into each weeks lesson. A parent take home sheet reinforces what was taught that day and gives ideas and suggestion for daily family devotions for the week ahead.

Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent – Room 30

For the ancient Israelites, pilgrimage was a three-times-per-year journey to the temple in Jerusalem; for New Testament believers all of life becomes a journey together toward the new Jerusalem. Taught by Becky Sharp

Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted by Priscilla Shirer – Room 30 (Beginning after Stepping Up)

What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! In this 7-session Bible study,  Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God’s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city. Taught by Becky Sharp
