Our worship services have three distinct aspects. First we experience God's power and grace given to us through His Word and the Sacraments.  Second, we join together as a community to give thanks and praise to God.  Third, we encourage each other and care for each other through our participation in worship.

We have two services.  The early service follows modern versions of ancient orders of service called liturgies.  For those who are part of the Lutheran tradition, we use the Lutheran Service Book.  The second service is informal and contemporary.  It uses modern music and heartfelt prayers.

Worship is a spiritual experience, drawing each individual into a deeper connection with Jesus Christ.  We choose songs which both support our foundational beliefs, but also elevate our souls.  Stylistically, our early service uses the pipe organ and classical instrumentation. Our contemporary service uses contemporary music and modern variations of hymns.

We want you to be comfortable, so come as you are. Dress tends to be modest and casual. Depending on the weather, people wear jeans, shorts, sandals, etc.

During communion, we believe that we receive, in, with, and under the bread and wine, the true body and blood of Christ shed on the cross. The same Jesus Christ, who is now risen and ascended to Heaven. Those who hold a differing belief are asked to refrain from joining us for communion.  The pastor would value the opportunity to discuss our beliefs and practice of the Lord's Supper.

Our parking lot entrance is a quarter of a mile East of highway 23 on the North side of Washtenaw Ave.  The first parking lot entrance on your right will take you to our guest parking and handicapped parking lot.  You will see four glass doors that will take you to the main lobby.  The second parking lot entrance on your right will take you to the main parking lot.  From that lot you will see three double doors that will take you to the main lobby.  They can also be used to access the church office.

Children are encouraged to participate with their families in the worship service.  Activity bags are available to engage children's hands while they listen to the service.  A parent's room with an audio link to the service is available.  Changing stations are located in the restrooms.   The late service contains a brief Children's church time during the sermon.
