As we roll into the fall season, we are also beginning a whole new slate of Adult Bible education classes and Jesus-centered support groups. There are a number of options at each of our three sites this fall. We invite you to find a class at a time and place that suits you to dive into the Word of God.

Midweek Bible Studies

Living Water

  • The Sacred Echo by Margaret Feinberg
    Starting Tuesday, September 16, at 7 p.m., Gail Flynn leads “The Sacred Echo,” a book by Margaret Feinberg.This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays each month at the Flynn home. Group members will need to order the book and workbook. Available at margaretfeinbergstore.com.
  • Women’s Bible Study – 1 & 2 Thessalonians
    Women can choose from two mid-week studies starting this month. Every Wednesday, starting on September 10, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., Nancy Deeb leads Children of the Day, a new Beth Moore study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians at St. Luke-Ann Arbor.

University Lutheran Chapel – Tuesday and Wednesday Nights

  • Men’s & Women’s Bible Study
    Men and Women of the Chapel are invited to gender-specific studies at 8 p.m. Men will met in the Fireside Lounge. Women meet in the Second Floor Lounge.
  • Basketball, Bibles, and Beer
    Men join us at St. Luke, Ann Arbor on Tuesday evening for some basketball at 6:30 p.m. Then we will head to Buffalo Wild Wings for a Bible discussion and refreshments!

St. Luke-Ann Arbor

  • Bible Study Fellowship
    Women’s Interdenominational Bible Study & Children’s Program will meet Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:20 a.m. at St. Luke-Ann Arbor. Check out the blog My BSF Journey to find out more!

  • Women’s Bible Study – Esther
    The Wednesday Night Women’s Bible Study resumes on Wednesday, September 10, at 6:30 with a Beth Moore study of the book of Esther.
  • It’s Your Call by Gary Barkalow
    Dave Hasey will begin a study based on the book It’s Your Call by Gary Barkalow, exploring where God is calling you in your life. This class begins Wednesday, September 10, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Luke-Ann Arbor.
  • Financial Peace
    Dan Flynn will lead a nine-week class on Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, meeting Wednesday evenings at St. Luke-Ann Arbor. Register online.
  • Financial Peace for Kids
    Darren Meyer will lead children grades 1st-8th grade through Financial Peace University kids style.
  • Amazing Journey with Jesus
    Jennifer Hein will walk with children pre-k to 8th grade as they journey together and get to know Jesus better.
  • Confirmation
    Families with children grades 6 through high school that are interested in confirmation meet in the West Wing.
  • Nursery
    The nursery staff will provide care for children infant-3 years old whose parents are involved in the discipleship program.

  • Breakfast Club – Jr. & Sr. High Youth

  • Splash KidZone
    Bring your children to Sunday School beginning Sunday September 14, at 9 a.m. for an interactive program where kids will have fun learning to live their faith 24/7! Stop at the KidCheck station to check-in and then relax in the Galley Cafe or attend Adult Bible study. Get more information.
  • Pastor Dan’s Bible Study – The Book of Acts
    Pastor Dan will lead adults in a study of the book of Acts from 9-10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Come and learn “how churches grow” based on the Acts 2:42 model.

University Lutheran Chapel

  • Breakfast Club – Jr. & Sr. High Youth
    Sunday mornings, middle school and high school students at The Chapel meet in the Upstairs Lounge at 10:10 a.m.

St. Luke-Ann Arbor

  • Adult Bible Study
    This pastor-led study will meet during the 9:45 Education Hour in the Great Room and will follow the weekly scripture lessons.
  • Sunday School – Ages 2 through Grade 5
    Kids will gather beginning Sunday, September 7, during the 9:45 Education Hour. Register here.

    • Living Water MOPS begins on Thursday, September 11, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Whitmore Lake Middle School.
    • St. Luke-Ann Arbor MOPS begins Thursday, September 18, from 9-11:30 a.m. at St. Luke-Ann Arbor.

Oasis

The Oasis support ministry meets Wednesday nights at St. Luke-Ann Arbor at 6:30 p.m.

  • The Women’s Codependency Group will explore Speaking The Truth in Love by Ruth Koch and will be led by Sara Timm.
  • The Victors Men’s Group will be led by Mike Maynard.
  • The Victorious: Healing For Our Marriages Women’s Group led by Judy Maynard will study Captivating, Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman’s Soul by John & Stasi Eldredge.
