On February 4th and 5th, St Luke is offering a Fixer Upper Marriage Retreat hosted by Mike and Judy Maynard and Pastor Dan and Gail Flynn. The retreat will take place at Camp Michindoh & Conference Center, near Hillsdale, MI from February 4th at 1:00 p.m. to February 5th, 1:00 p.m. The cost is $90/couple and includes all materials, meals and activities. This retreat is an extension of the “I Love You More” Sunday school class currently being offered at St. Luke, but can also be attended as a stand alone. Click Here to Register!
Mike Maynard shares a little about the retreat and his heart for couples.
What marriage couldn’t use a little more adjusting here or tightening there? Take it from a couple who have had a few missing nuts & bolts. Judy and I have had our share of bumps and jolts along our marriage journey. We have been blessed to have wonderful Christian pastors, mentors, couples, and counselors along the way to give good advice and prayer.
Attending a conference and meeting the authors of “I Love You More, ” Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, was the basis for us offering a class of the same name here at St. Luke. It has been such a blessing to us. This class looks at conflict as a tool to help improve our marriages. The communication techniques learned from these lessons will be expanded upon at the “Fixer Upper Retreat, ” with Pastor Dan & Gail Flynn joining us on this journey with you. We would love to have you at the Sunday School classes, but you are welcome to attend the retreat either way.
So Gentlemen, would you like to score some points with your wife before Valentine’s Day? Sign up for this retreat as a gift to her.
