Jeremiah 29:11-13
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.'”

Sometimes it may not seem like it but God constantly listens to your prayers and has a plan for your life. It always helps to remember this which is why I picked Jeremiah 29:11-13 as my confirmation verse. This verse comforts me because I know that Jesus will never stop listening to me, and has a plan for my life whatever happens. This verse challenges me to pray and seek God with my whole heart. I can seek God and follow his plans with confidence because I know Jesus rose for me and will never stop loving me no matter what I do.

In this picture the two paths represent God’s plans for me and my plans for my life. The larger road represents my plans the small path represents God’s plans for me. Although they may seem good at first our plans usually don’t end up being good for us or the people around us. God’s plans however may be harder sometimes, but always help us.

I believe that no matter what happens God will be with me and guide me through. He will never abandon me.
