Our week-long rotating homeless shelter program begins on Monday, January 17th, 2022 at St. Luke.
Volunteers are needed for our 8 p.m. – 7 a.m. overnight host shift. This shift consist of just being a presence for the men, making coffee in the morning, and any minor troubleshooting as necessary. Please use the online form to get additional information or sign up for one or more of these shifts.
Also, as in the past, the men will be showering daily at St. Luke so we need volunteers to wash, dry, fold and return towels each day of the week. Everything is provided including the quarters required to do this at a laundromat. This should not be done at your home. Please use the online laundry form to get additional information or sign up for one or more of these shifts.
Our other needs include:
- A few cases of bottled water
- 4 large cans of regular ground coffee
- Cash/check/electronic donations to cover laundry expense
Monetary donations can be made at St. Luke on Sunday mornings, mailed, or through our website electronically, just choose ‘Homeless Shelter’. If giving at church or mailing please designate ‘Homeless Shelter’ as well.
