St Luke welcomes Rebekah Young as the Nursery Coordinator.
I’ve been a part of the St. Luke faith family for my whole life–baptized in the old sanctuary, confirmed in the current sanctuary, and married by a St. Luke pastor! My husband and I love to look back and see all the ways God had shaped and used the St. Luke community in our lifetime. I’ve been involved in various ministries here, including youth ministry, short-term missions trips, MOST ministry VBS, and MOPS.
After earning a degree in English from Hillsdale College, I spent a few years working in communications and marketing for a church software company. Now, I am blessed to be at home, (almost) fully at the disposal of my two-year-old daughter, Beatrice. According to Beatrice, we like to walk to the park, make cookies, go to Home Depot, ride the horsey at Meijer, and, of course, go to the church nursery.
Our family enjoys spending time with family, being outside, road-tripping together, and working on projects around our home.
As Nursery Coordinator, Rebekah will be managing the caregiver schedule and general running of our nursery program. If you are interested in helping out with child care, please contact Rebekah for scheduling.
