Wednesday Lenten Supper & Services
Health problems. Loneliness. Trouble paying the bills. Challenges at school. An argument with family. A stressful job…or no job. Life is full of difficulties that seek to dominate our thoughts, intrude on our peace, undermine our hope, and weigh down our hearts. How are we to navigate such struggles? Fortunately, Scripture gives us the answer: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:1-2).

On Wednesdays this Lent, we will look at a number of different aspects of the Christian life in order to practice keeping our “eyes on Jesus,” the author and perfecter of our faith. Join us as we remember that we are not alone, and with the saints across the ages find peace and purpose in Jesus. Services will be held at 7:00 pm in the West Wing, with dinner beforehand at 6:00 pm in the same location every Wednesday except for March 5th (Ash Wednesday). We’re asking you to help out by bringing an appetizer, main course, or a dessert to share. If you are providing food please drop it off no later than 6:00 PM. We hope to see you there!  We’ll have a sign-up sheet available beginning on March 9th to let us know what you’re bringing.

We’ll have a sign-up sheet available in the lobby to let us know what you’re bringing.
