What Is the LWML ?

The mission of the LWML is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world. Find out more at the LWML website, and the Michigan LWML website. Check out the LWML’s introduction video.

Please visit the St. Luke LWML Facebook page. It will provide ongoing updates about the Epiphany Brunch and “what’s happening” in your St. Luke LWML.

Upcoming Events

St. Luke LWML is raising money to support those who attend their District and National conventions each year. The goal is for women to experience “leadership in action” and be inspired to “serve the Lord with gladness” in their home congregation. This fund is lovingly called the Angel Fund in honor of Doris Delventhal, whose donated angel collection has helped raise money in the past. If you have lots of returnable bottles and cans at home, please donate refunds to the Angel Fund! Better yet, donate half to the Angel Fund and put the rest toward Mites. Angel Fund and Mite donations can be placed in the LWML mailbox at St. Luke or sent to Lois Vogt, 5666 Winslow Court, Ypsilanti 48197. Please make checks payable to “LWML Michigan District-St. Luke Ann Arbor” and memo for Angel Fund or Mites.
