Friends in Christ,

We are going to be blessed this Sunday with a great deal of activity before, during, and after services! So we can serve as we are best able to here is a quick rundown of what to expect:

1) Elections: This Sunday will be the first day of elections for our Elders and SLC. There will be a table set up by the entrance to the sanctuary to vote as we have in years past. If you are a member of St. Luke and over the age of 18 please do your part to affirm our 2022 leaders.

2) Christmas Survival Kit Assembly: We have had an outpouring of support from congregation members and the LWML in preparation for this event. If you would like to donate financially to the ministry effort please check our online giving portals and look for this option. If you would still like to serve in any of the ways detailed in my prior email, send an email to aleejohn.bass@gmail.com to get connected with the effort!

We will be assembling these kits in the middle of the fellowship area between and after services.

3) A Day in Bethlehem: By our main entrance, we will have a table set up with information and service opportunities related to our “Day in Bethlehem” experience happening on 12-19. Please check it out and plan to participate in this congregation-wide event!

4) Christmas Cards for Front Line Healthcare Workers: In our Library, we will be writing Christmas cards to the frontline workers who have been keeping us healthy and safe through the pandemic. We will remind you as you help make survival kits but please take some time to thank the people who God has put in our lives to minister to our health needs!

Let’s do our best to be a blessing to others this Sunday as there is truly no shortage of opportunity!

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

God Bless,
Aaron
