“In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness” (Psalm 31:1).
I believe that Jesus will protect me from shame, sin, and death. Because Jesus protects me, I trust that I will be delivered to heaven and I will rise and defeat death. All of this is possible because I am a believer in the Holy Spirit.
My response to Jesus protecting me is to help other people with their faith in Jesus. My confirmation verse challenges me to trust that Jesus will be my refuge.

This verse is a promise to me that I will be protected by God the Father, maker of Heaven and Earth.

My confirmation verse: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.”
I believe that Jesus will provide everything that I need.
Because Jesus protects me, I know that He always will love me. All of this is possible because the Holy Spirit is always with me. My response to His protection is feeling safe so I turn to him when I need safety.
