Last August six men from St. Luke did a backpacking trip to Pictured Rocks in the Upper Peninsula. Jason Hallman, Joshua Scott, Peter Bruenger, Noah Gustafson, Brooke Bowen, and myself traveled the six hours to hike 25 miles along the cliffs of Pictured Rocks. The views were spectacular.
Each morning I would give the group a question to ponder during the day and that night around the camp fire we would share. We had some great conversations about all sorts of things.
In the midst of the adventure the six of us grew in friendship looking at a lot of water falls, hugging trees on cliffs, and checking out bears. It really was a great time.
