Theme Verse: Psalm 121

We are all on a pilgrimage journey. The Jews literally lived this out by going to the Temple but for us our journey is an anticipation of the day we walk into the heavenly Zion. On that journey we do what Psalm 121 says, “I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from?”

Focus:

As we journey into a new school year we acknowledge what the Psalmist writes, “I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from?”  God reaches down into our lives and He does watch over us even as we stumble and slip by our own stupid decisions. He does not yield us up but holds on to us. As the Psalmist says, “He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”
