What does it look like to live joyfully in all of life’s ups and downs?
To help us wrestle with this question, our summer Adult Bible Study at St. Luke will focus on Philippians, Paul’s letter of joy. Written from prison to the churches and church leaders in Philippi, this letter from the Apostle Paul and Timothy will help us wrestle with how to have true joy in the midst of difficulties and uncertainties.
We hope you’ll join us Saturdays at 10am for this online Zoom study. Click here to let us know you are coming and to receive the Zoom link. This quick response will help us plan for discussion. Our study will be co-led by Jason Hallman and Pastor Matt Hein.
Each study session will include large group teaching and discussion, as well as smaller group breakout sessions where you’ll talk with 4-8 people. After an introductory session on June 6, we’ll dive into Philippians for 8 weeks. Here’s the schedule:

In addition to reading in our Bibles, we’ll utilize a Philippians Bible study guide by N. T. Wright to shape our time together. Purchasing and using this guide isn’t required to participate on Saturdays, but we’re confident that you’ll be blessed to use it throughout the week as you dig deeper in preparation for our time together on Saturdays. Click here to view and purchase the study guide by N. T. Wright in paperback or ebook forms.
