The season following Christmas and Epiphany in the Christian Church is often spent focused on the person and work of Jesus. The “shining forth” theme that begins with the Bethlehem star turns into an exploration of how Jesus “shines forth” in His miracles and ministry.
This year in the worship time between Epiphany and Lent, we will again be turning to the person and work of Christ. Who is this Jesus? What is He like? What is He up to?
As we read the Gospels, the image we get of this God/Man is full of paradoxes; but if we want to cling to the Real Jesus, we have to hold on to both sides of what sometimes feels like contradictory truth.
Check out the video below and then join us for worship at any of our three sites as we explore the paradox of the Real Jesus.

St. Luke-Ann Arbor is a place for families of any kind to come and meet Jesus, and grow in their relationship with each other and the community around them. We are here to become intentional in our faith walk and to receive His grace and forgiveness weekly.
St. Luke is diverse in age, culture, and family make-up, but we all are looking to connect people to Jesus and walk along side them as they explore and learn more about the God that created, saved, and sustains them. We offer weekly Bible studies, Sunday morning bible studies, a MOPS group, and more to connect people to each other and to Jesus. At St. Luke we believe that the home is the primary place for faith formation and we want to equip, support, encourage, and resource you as you follow Jesus with the people He has put around you.
