Join the University Lutheran Chapel & St. Luke Team in the 2026 Walk for Life!

 According to the Charlotte Lozier Institute, pregnancy counseling centers continue to serve as a significant source of support for women and families. In 2025, there were 2,775 pregnancy counseling centers serving more than 1 million clients and providing over $452 million in total medical care and support, including $116 million in tangible material assistance. Family Life Services (located in Ypsilanti) in the last year provided 458 ultrasounds, more than 20,000 items were given out including over 18,000 diapers. 194 of the 406 patients were undecided about their baby.  87 of these women chose life after counseling with FLS.

Supporting Families in Our Community

We have an opportunity to love our neighbors here in our own backyard by providing material, financial, and prayerful support to Family Life Services, also known as Sienna Women’s Health. This ministry provides diapers, wipes, clothing, pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, prayer support, parenting resources, adoption referrals, and compassionate care to women and families in need.

Your ticket donation will directly support Family Life Services and the moms, babies, and families they serve throughout Washtenaw County and beyond. Sign up to join the ULC-St. Luke team here. • Location: Montibeller Park, 4305 Ellsworth Rd., Ypsilanti, MI 48197
• Date and Time: Saturday, September 26, 9:00 a.m.–Noon
• Check-In/Registration: Begins at 9:00 a.m.
• Walk Start: The one-mile walk around the park begins at 9:30 a.m.

Tickets and Giving

Early bird tickets are $20 for an individual walker and $40 for a family of walkers. You may purchase these tickets here by selecting the yellow “Walk or Donate for Life!” option in the top right corner. These rates will increase after Labor Day. Our Call to Serve

We are called to be a beacon of hope for women in our community who deserve to know the truth that they are created in the image and likeness of our Creator, a gift and a treasure to our Savior, a blessing to our community, and that there are resources and alternatives to abortion available to them. Let us respond with compassion and be the Lord’s hands and feet in our community.
